In recent years the knee prosthesis has been evolutionarily developed in, so to speak, small yet exclusive steps. After the implantation of a conventional standard prosthesis our patients were overwhelmingly satisfied with the achieved results. However, a certain percentage is unhappy with his/her knee after the treatment. Various reasons for this are possible, and must also be reduced evolutionarily.
New technological possibilities are allowing a logistical quantum leap. The individually fitted, image-based implant, the truly individual knee arthroplasty has become clinical reality.
The scientific program at our meeting will highlight the relevant aspects related to the individual knee anatomy and the individual prosthesis and enable you, in one intensive day, to gain a concise overview about this subject.
